Family Education Training
Family Education and Training (FET) is an HCBS (Home and Community Based Service) program that offers parents and primary caregivers of children under the age of 18 access to training on a variety of topics related to raising a child with a disability. The primary caregivers must have a child that is OPWDD eligible to participate. Attendance of at least one 2 hour class or two 1 hour classes per year is required to maintain enrollment in this program, and keep medicaid eligibility for the child.
